Shined tonite

Unread postby lungbuster » Sat Sep 03, 2011 6:19 pm

I don't usually shine our property because I don't like to harass the deer to much, but tonite I had the itch. Saw about 10 different deer, one decent 2.5 year old hanging with a doe that wanted to be a star (got about 20 secs. of footage), he has split brows and should be a great deer in 2 years........All of the other bucks took off before I could verify how big they were. We hit the road and shined about 15 more, mostly does and young bucks, just before we ended our trip we spotted a 3.5 year old 8 poit that had just shed his velvet (antler still soaked in blood). All in all a decent night of shining.

Still pulled from footage

You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

That's an itch that just needs a scratch. I hope "Waiting For The Fall" has it's best season ever! Actually I guess it would be it's first season ever....but you know what I mean :?
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Nice, was that taken on a camera or a camcorder and turned it into an image?
