Camera check really got me fired up

Unread postby mdnabors » Sun Aug 14, 2011 4:38 pm

So I finally made it out to check a few cams. I have a camera on our feeder pen where we've been feeding protein since March thank goodness because all of the natural vegetation is fried from the months of no rain and 100+ degree temps. I also have a camera on the fenceline trail about 100 yards from the feeder pen and another camera less than 75 yards from where I believe this bachelor group is bedding since I jumped them a few weeks ago in this spot. Here are a few pics at these spots. I have a stand right on the fence corner where the trail chokes down. If they keep this pattern we will be posting pics opening weekend! Enjoy

fyi...times from stealth cam on feeder are wrong. Actually opposite (12 hours difference)

Haha...NO...damn cows everywhere. Only way to keep a protein feeder around and not get destroyed.

Thanks...I think I found a different Bach group on N side of property that same day. Gotta get some cams out over there this week. Pretty sure I know where they are bedding on a hillside. Trying to tally up all the mature deer on the property before season gets here so we can make a Hitlist and a Pass list. Nice to have a very low pressure piece to hunt. Doesn't always workout that way.
