The bed is in a small island of trees in an ag field, only used when there is corn. There is corn this year, I checked it in June, it didn't look like it was getting used a lot but there is usually a good one that takes it over during the summer. If the picture wasn't a little blurry you could see old rubs on the larger of the two small trees on the back side of the bed. When I checked it, it appeared he was laying in some dead grass the farmer had sprayed about ten yards off the island. I'm guessing that grass is down by now and he has relocated slightly to the bed that is typically used. Second picture is from some droppings from the second bed in the dead grass.(I think Singing Bridge will appreciate them, since he is a poo conoisseur).

Very cool thread.
Finding beds in the woods is my number one weakness and one I want to become better at to become a better hunter.
Ive been trying to plot them on topo (or where I think they'll be) and then snooping around on foot.
No luck yet at this time. Im thinking of starting to chill on that now as PA opener first week of October and then in season scout during the days in field.

Bed on a rock pile in the middle of an ag field. The bed was located on the highest piece of ground in the rock pile, aside from solid rock.
Bed on a cattail transition. Public land. Found big tracks near by so he made it thru the season. There were also several multi-year rubs 50 yards away.
Pic from spring of '14... still need to make it back to this one this year. Another public bed and one of the coolest looking beds I've found

Just found this bed yesterday. Nice rub 8 ft away and seen the approach tracks coming in from South. Probably aNorth wind that morning. The vegetation is rush I believe and is very thick and covers a large area. They might bed anywhere .

Those look like porcupine droppings. Sure there isn't a den somewhere in those rocks?
