Re: How old do you think?
Nice looking buck. He looks 2.5 in the body and 3.5 in the rack. He would be a tough one to pass with the bow, but would probably give this guy another year to see what he would blow into. Now passing this guy would all depend on what property, time of the year and heat of the moment.
He's a young deer nonetheless.

Tough to give a good guess with the picture provided. I'd lean 3.5 maybe 4.5. Depends on where you took the pic. A shooter for some areas, some others maybe not. Whats a gun?

At least 3.5.... Bow all the way, even during gun season!

3.5... As far as passing on him it depends on how many you have under your belt.If you have shot some nice bucks I would pass.

Re: How old do you think?
The picture was taken with a trail camera, there are several others.
Gun probably not but bow hunting most likely. I have two on the wall 138" and one 150".
Gun way bigger.
Is this deer between 140" to 150"?

Mid 130's max, and a great deer.
Based on the thickness of his legs and body size, I would have a hard time believing he is more than 3, maybe even a freak 2 year old.

I am thinking in the 130's, doesn't look like a higher scoring buck. Can you post any other pics of him to help with score/age. He appears to have a long nose/face which is why I think he might be older, hard to see the rest of his body in the pic.

Re: How old do you think?
I say he is a 2 1/2 year old and will gross about 125.
If you have other options I would definately give him at least another year. Especially since you have much bigger deer on the wall already.

Re: How old do you think?
Does this help?
I have a 17 year old son that might get a chance at him, could be his first buck...
Thought it would be nice for him...
