Record book scat?
Did some scouting yesterday and couldn't believe this was from a deer. I put my Oregon 450 next to it for size comparison. It had rained, so no tracks to judge. It appears to be 2 dumps, but what are the odds of 2 deer, or the same deer crapping in the same spot like that?

Re: Record book scat?
I found piles like that last January from a bedding area that I know for a fact two mature bucks were bedding in. I saw them rise up out of their beds while hunting one day in late December and went to investigate after the season closed. All of the piles were the exact size and shape as a 12 ounce soda can.
I have only seen this a few times and every time it was from a mature buck that I estimate was at least 4 1/2 years old.
I know others here disagree and say that size doesn't make a difference but this is just my observation.
