3/5 scout with Black Squirrel

That Black Squirrel is pretty darn elusive!

Thanks for posting those pics Gardner. We had a nice productive trip. We saw plenty of tracks and a few nice beds as you can see. These beds are located in a brushy area of the swamp, no big trees to hang stands. Now we got to figure out how to kill one of these guys. ;)

I have the same problem in one of the marshes I hunt. I know where a really good buck has been bedding but I can't get close enough to seal the deal. From the tree I sit in that is about 120 yards away I can see him get up from his bed but he never moves past his staging area before last light. Very frustrating but I guess I will have to hunt from the ground if possible.

Thanks for sharring! Looks like you guys made some great finds. Its always encouraging seeing others gets out and helps motivate me to continue searching for hot spots for the up coming season. Hope you kill one!
