Not an Everyday Sight

Unread postby seazofcheeze » Mon Jul 13, 2020 6:33 am

Went to a new area that I can hunt elk in with the permit I drew this year. Didn't see any elk, but did see quite a few big horn rams  and a couple nice muleys.

Those rams are sweet. When do they start heading for the real high ground?

These rams were along the Missouri River in the "breaks" which is basically badlands-type country. Really, really rough and steep country. I think they stay in that habitat year round, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
