Glassed up a few bucks (Video)

Unread postby seazofcheeze » Fri Jul 10, 2020 3:37 am

I've been out on two dedicated glassing missions. I took along the phone skope and the spotter and got some footage of some solid whitetail and mule deer bucks. No giants yet, but I'm hoping to turn up a tank before September hits.

Cool footage for sure!

I haven't seen anything good enough to record yet.

And they seem pretty chill. Deer in SE WI are a lot twitchier than that with anyone stopped by the road.

Definitely a few solid bucks in there, but my plan is to be quite a pickier this year. I'm looking for a bona fide no doubter buck. I haven't seen one yet, but I am sure they are around.

The whitetails at the beginning were about 600 yards away, and muleys are just totally different. They aren't nearly as spooky as whitetails when it comes to vehicles. They will stare for quite a while as long as a guy doesnt get out of the truck

Thanks man! I'm hoping to get out a few times next week. It's getting to the point of the summer where it's pretty easy to tell contender from pretender, even if we can't see the final form of the contenders just yet. It won't be long now!
