Dan, what do you use for cameras while scouting?

I have a $300 cannon video camera. Fits in my pocket and has decent quality.

I really liked this video, along with some great scouting info, i thought it was cool that you showed yourself taking the time to pick up garbage left by others!! I have been trying to teach my kids this, both by example and by telling them to pick up trash left by others.

Great video as usual. Always gets me thinking of more areas I need to scout. If only I had time to get to them all!

Great stuff. I felt like I needed a little refresher heading into the last few weeks before full green-up. 8-)

Excellent content there, not sure why the balloon thing seemed strange to me until watching this. Obviously not gonna be balloon hunting but makes sense why you might find them frequently given the terrain features we try to zero in on.

I found one just the other day in a small valley, if you will, in a farm field that was not only slightly lower than the surrounding fields, but also tapered toward water. There’s no way it would hold a bed, but it did settle where thermals pulled it down and/or wind was not strong enough to keep it airborne. Something about downdrafts that makes those balloons wind up where they do. To riff on Dan, the air current don’t lie.
