So today I did a scouting run.
It was about 3 hrs through a public marsh. There are oak island everywhere in this marsh.
The thing I kept noticing is that I kept getting caught up following the obviously used trails instead of walking the edges looking for beds.
Once I started to do this I found some, nothing I want to go back to.
But it was just a lesson in breaking ingrained habits.
And after my boots were soaked and I was wet from the knees down it was easy..
