Hi guys,
I’ve had Google earth pro on my laptop computer for sometime now but I’ve noticed that there’s no time lapse feature on Google earth pro. I used to have regular Google earth and it had the time lapse feature, so I could see the changes In foliage from summer to fall etc. I need to be able to find out where the transitions are between hardwoods and evergreens. Does anyone know how to do this on Google earth pro? I believe it’s called a time lapse feature Which means it has different satellite images taken at different points throughout the year.

Re: Google Earth Pro Time Lapse
Go to the top of the screen to the right of the box where it says "search" theres a button with a clock on it. Click that. A slider bar will appear on screen where you can scroll through the pictures over the years. Some areas have more data than others. Hope this helps.

CChez,
Thank you for responding. I did what you said, but when you go to the right of the search icon, there is no clock button; there is only an inward arrow key which allows you to close out the search box. I remember using the exact features you've shown in your picture on regular google earth, but there is no tool bar option anymore for Pro. I checked some other forums and people are complaining of the same thing. Please tell me I am wrong! lol. Are there any other sites or resources online that would provide that same sliding sattelite time scale feature??

Re: Google Earth Pro Time Lapse
On one of my newer computers, the clock isn't there like on the older ones.
When I zoom in and in... eventually a clock symbol appears on the task bar on the bottom of my screen with a year next to it.
I click on it, and the Time Lapse control appears on my screen.
Hope that helps.

Re: Google Earth Pro Time Lapse
first of all, make sure you download Google Earth pro to the computer.. online Google Earth no longer has the time lapse feature
on Google Earth Pro, go to the upper left hand corner.. At the top you will see a column labeld "VIEW"
Click on view and get the drop down menu.
on the drop down menu you will see a box labeled "Historical Imagery"
click that.
it should work now
