A walk in Ohio

Unread postby adelle26 » Thu Dec 13, 2018 1:12 pm

Pictures just for fun and to test out the Huntmore photo app.

Did my first scouting of the post season on a small 40 acre private property in Ohio. Borders a cemetery on one side, and is extremely thick with very few trees to hunt.
Previously I used to just dump corn out in the middle of the property and sit in a blind over and over again, with very little success. It was boring and very limiting.
Going to be fun to figure these deer out and hunt the beast way. I found 8 beds today. Some have rubs and some don’t. One had a dead buck laying right next to the bed.

Love looking down and seeing hair to verify it’s a bed!

Beds and buck sign found in and around the green crosshairs here. Blue lines are typical hunter access by the others who have permission. Everyone walks those open trails, no one wants to go into this thick because it’s so hard to get to. I’ll have to plan my access carefully
