Scaled Satellite Images?

Is there a website that will allow you to print out satellite photos to a certain scale? I would like to print them at the same scale as my topo maps.

I think you can do that on MyTopo. You build the map, then download the map preview and print it. You don't get the best resolution doing this, but you can see transitions and obvious vegetation changes.

You can go to Cal Topo on a pc and overlay topo and aerial. You can use whatever percentage of each. So for example I usually use 33ish% percent of topo over the aerials. This lets me see the lines well enough but I see the terrain much better. You can print from there.

Hill map I believe does a split screen. So you can do one half of your screen as a topo and the other as an aerial. Cursor moves on both sides.

Otherwise you can get a usgs topo download for google earth. For some reason mine is a little temperamental, but it works. Can change the opacity to see what you want to see.

Otherwise depending on where you are, county gis is the best. I’ve gotten 1’ contours with it before. It’s awesome. You can also print it to any scale you want
