Swamp Scouting Help

Unread postby HunterBob » Wed Oct 31, 2018 12:53 am

So I have only hunted this swamp a few times a couple of years back and after reading some of dan and others' thoughts on swamps, I figures that I would try scouting it out a bit more. I would love some advice on potential places to look for bedding before just heading in. The blue line is a creek with a yellow line that is a creek crossing. The red dot is where I have hunted and seen deer coming through. Thanks in advance to whoever responds!

I'd focus around where you hunted last time, looks like the best bedding. What kind of trees/land is in the lower left corner? Couldn't tell if that was swamp or not, could be another decent area if wet.

Thanks, parts of it are super thick brush and small trees clumped together. I am hoping to scout around the swamp more this Friday.

I can't seem to find the thread that talks more specifically about hunting swamps. Can anyone help to put me on one? Thanks!
