OnX problems

Unread postby PaytonWP » Fri Sep 14, 2018 12:08 pm

Has anyone else been having any problems with the app. It seems like mine hasn’t worked right since Turkey season when they came out with an update. It was just draining my battery but now it’s freezing up and closing. It’s getting pretty annoying. Lol

I haven't had any problems with it lately and I use it a lot. Have you tried contacting them?

No problems with mine. Sounds frustrating though!

I’m on iPhone. No issues other than the direction it gives me being wrong about half the time while off grid.

I'm having a problem with the website. When scrolling in close I'm having a problem panning the map over. The program is acting like I'm trying to left click and drag to select a range, rather than grabbing the point on the map and dragging it in the direction I choose.

I like it and its really nice but the annoying blue shade is wat i cant stand. They should just outline public property with a colored line almost like google earth does.

I agree. You can turn that shade off or make it more transparent which is what I do. I almost wish they would shade all of the private and then leave public normal.

That’s the same thing mines doing. I just tried deleting the app from my phone and reinstalling it and it seems to have fixed it for now.

No problem buddy. Just go to Map layers, then whatever state you want, then you’ll see a layer for public lands. From there you can either turn it off or go in to “layer settings” to change the transparency.
