Scouting new 80 acres

Unread postby Scentblocker » Sat Mar 03, 2018 5:51 pm

Hi,
This is 80 acres of private property that I am going to scout for the first time when the snow melts. I am attaching two maps. If there is a buck bedding area that stands out I would like some BEAST advice.
This property has little to no pressure.
Winds are normally north to northwest.
Thanks in advance.

Start by looking on those points for beds then walk the cruising elevation for sign. Look for transitions and walk them. Boots on the ground gonna be the best advice really. Good luck

Agree with Psych. That whole property looks like it could be bedding. So many points, and smaller points. I like to give some specific spot advice, but 80 acres with so many potential bedding areas just walk it all.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...
