Michigan Scouting Workshop?

Unread postby gander08 » Tue Jan 23, 2018 12:04 am

Dan, any thoughts on doing a Michigan scouting workshop? I'm sure there are a lot of Michigan Beasts that would love to do one this spring as well. I would be willing to pay extra to cover your travel costs...Thanks

Yeh I’d be down, and know a few guys that would go! I’m sure there would be no problem filling it.

I HAVE BEEN TO Michigan AND DID ONE THERE A COUPLE YEARS AGO... Great time, and it went over well, especially with some help from a beast member whom lives there. However, I still think comi9ng here is far better and looking at spots that I know inside out, so you can see all the different aspects about scouting rather than following me around scouting blind somewhere I have not been. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot to learn in that scenario, but I do think a lot of people are missing out when they don't see my set ups, and where I have killed big bucks in the past, and the hows and whys spots were chosen.

If you're looking for a group scout go to WI and see Dan's spots he knows extremely well, but don't overlook a one on one with Dan in your area either.

It is well worth the money to get Dan on your home turf that you and maybe another buddy hunts to see how Dan breaks it down. If you're requesting Dan to travel to an area it might as well be in an area you know and hunt.

It baffles me when guys want Dan to travel to unknown locations to him just so the scouters can save a few dollars and time for their travel. Go to Dan and really see why he picks proven spots.
