Ya because the deer bought it all up lol Seriously according to wikipedia cenus numbers there are more deer than people, that is crazy!

I am a novice but it's hard finding 125+" deer on public for me and I hunt in a relatively good area. I don't doubt that they are there but I have also gotten much more realistic with my expectations.

It's a balance though. I've thought about heading to other areas of wisconsin that are better known but haven't committed to the extra time to get to and hunt those spots.

I used to hunt private just south of the waupaca county line. I shot a couple nice buck there. Alot of private over there.

I definitely am going to start expanding my "home" range. Every spring I want to find a new area of public, and scout it! I'm going to try and stay within a 1 hour drive of home.
