I have the afternoon off from school tomorrow, so Im thinking about strapping on the snowshoes and checking out some land I've been eyeing up. The issue is that we just got 6 inches of snow last night and today, so pretty much the only thing Im going to see out there is the activity from today, tonight, and tomorrow morning.
I know any time in the woods is better than sitting at home, but does it pay to get out there when Im only going to get to see a day's worth of activity?
Should I go scouting tomorrow?

I would say go for it. At the very least you can get the "lay of the land."

If you can find a fresh buck track, follow it around. You will be surprized at what you can learn following a track.
