"Plat" Overlay

Unread postby U.P. MAN » Mon Jan 24, 2011 6:43 am

Has anyone came across a map program that has a "plat book" overlay onto an ariel map? I have looked but never found anything. that would be extremely useful when scouting new pieces of land public or private. The next best thing i have found is when you can put an overlay that shows all the fourty boundries. Nice when scouting a new lease, new piece of property you have permission to hunt ect... Its nice to use terrain features in the field to find property lines.

some counties offer that in IN

you are right, it is VERY helpful

here is an example of it, I wish all counties and states did this
