Just thought I'd see if anyone else noticed a high level of daytime activity yesterday from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. My family and I were driving back from Mid-Ohio to SE Michigan during this time and we saw many deer, including 2 and 3 year old bucks, out in the bean fields. The activity level was on par with the last half hour of daylight.
It was after a front came through the day before and we are between the first quarter moon and the full moon meaning the moon was overhead earlier in the evening.
Any one else notice this yesterday?

Re: Daytime activity level
I am a believer in moon overhead/underfoot don't feel it always relates to feeding though. I see bucks out in the fields all summer in the evenings but that's all about to change with all the last minute scouters storming the woods, dove season and hard antler. Wouldn't pay a whole lot of attention to it other than seeing what's on the menu. When u see em in the summer feeding at point "B" your best bet come start of season is setting up closer to point "A"
Life is hard; It’s even harder if you are stupid.
