Track ID
Found these deep in a South GA creek bottom, surrounded by swamps. Never seen anything like this but I'm confident that it's a track. Anyone have an idea of what could have made it? only one found but it was a small sand bar...

found near the other track.. probably a duck? weird I only found this single track though I guess the rain washed the others away

Did you ever figure anything out about this track? I tried googling all kinds of different things, found a few possibilities but nothing for sure. The defined toes w/o any claws just throws everything out the window.

I think it's an old bear track with the claw marks washed or worn away. A rear foot. The age is why no other track were seen. This one just happened to land in a spot that allowed it to last longer.

That is a good analysis Stash, it is an odd track in deed. We are just now getting bears around my area so I dont have much exp w those but I believe it.

I really hope you're wrong but that's the best explanation that I've heard so far. Thinking back it was closer to the bank than the water... Now I've probably got some bears to look forward to
