He was around 40 yards downwind. I think you're right that he was scent checking it. This is a perennial scrape. It's been there the last 3 years I've scouted that area but this was the first time I had a chance to hunt it. Do you think setting up at the top of the cut is the best option? Less of chance of getting scented overall and setting up for the j hook to the scrape?
