Been really good already so this is pretty cool. Should be even easier to see deer trails. Pretty soon we will be able to see bedded bucks. :o

The article made it sound like you should be able to view the new imagery now, but i am still seeing the same satelite view as before? I am going to re-read it

Big hunt showed me the image of the area in MN where I bear hunted 3 years ago and the most up to date photo you can zoom in and see our camp plain as day, my truck, bait trailer, tents etc...

I'm wondering if they have just updated some of the more populated areas first...
Also, my Google Earth Pro wont update, so I may not get it.

I just looked at my land and cabin.
I can see the ribs on the steel roof.
And the detail of the trees and fields are definetly better.

that is pretty cool, I can see the ripple on the water and the sand bars on the WI River...

The first time I opened Google earth pro, it told me there is a new database and that I need to restart it. After doing that, it seems to need to download a lot of new content and is really slow. I'm hoping it wil improve as it catches up.
