Another review of Dan's Scouting Service

Unread postby ScoutHuntShed » Tue May 10, 2016 1:40 pm

Had Dan come out to my Western WI hill country property and scout the weekend before last. I've been hunting the property since
I was a kid and was looking forward to some new ideas. Dan didn't disappoint. Right away he unraveled one bedding area that I had jumped bucks out of in the past but didn't really understand why or exactly where they were bedding. He also gave me some great habitat improvement suggestions. Not only does he really read sign and explain things well, he's a good guy and fun to hang out with. I've done pretty good on the place over the years but got kind of stuck in my ways and Dan challenged me on some things that I'm sure will get me to that next level. One thing that impressed me was after many hours of walking when we were done he was in no hurry to take off and we had a really good discussion.
Heck, just hearing his hunting stories in person is worth it! Seriously though, I would recommend him to anyone.

It was fun walking your property and discussing ideas. and hearing how past hunts went, and how the property meant so much to your Dad... Looking forward to hear how the future goes...

Just goes to show that the Dan in the videos is a real guy with a sense of humor. He cracks me up.

Best wishes for your future hunts. A little knowledge goes a long ways. Thanks to Dan for that.
