I found a bed this past weekend that seemed to have a lot of sign (poop) but the bed had very little hair in it. There was also a large rub by the bed. Could this be a secondary bed?

Re: Secondary bed
Sounds like it, more information would help. Terrain/ habitat, photo etc.

Re: Secondary bed
Could be seasonal based off food or rut. I scouted a private chunk of mine this past weekend and found a rut buck bed. Based off observations the last two years, we saw consistent buck movement near a doe bedding area. I dove in on Sunday, and it all made sense once I found that bed. Minor stand placement adjustments will get me in the game this year instead of being a spectator like the past few years on that property. Based on the sign and sightings, I don't think this bed is used much outside the late October to November timeframe. But, it's used very heavily in that timeframe.
