Well looks like a good start. Have tou ever had trouble with the cord? Thats wjat happened to my last one. The cord started breaking where it connected to the light handle itself

I have the exact same one as the other guys.

I've never had trouble with the cord and I have no idea how old it is at this point. It's seen a good amount of use.

I went through a few before this one, some were junk. There was only one I liked a little bit better and that was because it had a "trigger" instead of the slide button that this one has, it also cost a lot more from what I recall. In some areas, I have to turn on and off a lot because of tons of houses, and the sliding button can be a little tougher than a trigger. I used to just point it down at the ground when passing houses but I've had a few cops pull me over because they act like I'm shining houses. So I try to turn it on and off more now.

Other than that, no complaints and I'm not gentle with gear.

I get one with a cord for sure. I had two cordless ones that you had to charge and one of them burnt out and the other doesn't hold a charge. Nothing more frustrating when you see a buck in a field and your spotlight is dim.

The brinkmann-q-beam-max-million-iii-halogen-spotlight sounds like a really well liked spotlight. How often do you have to replace the halogen bulbs? How much are they to replace?

Is there a good LED based alternative?

I have had mine for 10 years and still on the original bulb. Back then mine came with a spare but haven't needed it yet.
