Was out scouting today and found a doe and fawn bedding area 6 in total. My problem is there was one by itself about 50 yds down the hill on a bench so that is 7 total. Could that have been a buck bedded there since it was alone and away form the does and yearlings? I'm guessing that if it was a buck he wouldn't be that old judging by the size of the bed and the tracks.any in put would be great thanks.

One lone bed on a bench, good bet it's a buck. Worth keeping track of.

Re: Another bed question
That's what I was thinking it just struck me as odd since it was that close to the doe beds. I did find another one not to far from there I was old I could the dirt underneath the little bit of snow we have and a small tree that was rubbed at the back of the bed. No other rubs though I'm the area.
