Help With Scouting Approach

Unread postby Voz » Sun Jan 03, 2016 4:33 pm

Hey guys,

I was hoping to get some opinions on how to approach my scouting for this property. I am rookie compared to most members on this site when it comes to Beast Style scouting so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The yellow lines are the property boundaries although I might be able to gain hunting rights to the neighboring properties as well.

Thanks!

Thats a tough property... I would expect the best bucks to be bedding on the steep ridges on neighboring properties. Coming in from below is also going to make it tough not getting winded by swirls and thermals... If I were to scout that property that size I would just walk the whole thing, but "if" you find bedding it should be along the north or south fence lines.

Thanks for the response. Would possible bedding areas apply on this property near the transition edges? The south west area of the property has corn to the south with a "marsh like" thick brush 50 yards north of the edge of the trees.

Thanks

Ok, looking closer, I think your right, i missed that... That thick area probably does have some decent bedding.
