Canopy

Unread postby TNstalker » Sun Dec 13, 2015 7:43 am

Was wondering if anyone has some examples of aerial photos of say 3-8 year old select cut timber. Gonna try to get better at looking for this when marking my maps. Still will looking in some mature timber for dead falls but don't want to focus on areas that sunlight can't get to the floor as good to create under growth.

Do you mean thinned pines, clearcut, or Timber Stand Improvement (TSI) ?

This is about 3 years old. Easy to find in the spring or winter.
