Big Woods-Bedding-Terrain question

Unread postby BigCedarJack » Fri Jun 19, 2015 4:10 pm

In the area I hunt there are lots of strong terrain features within the vertical change of a given hill/mountain that can create wind tunnels. When ascending or descending a taller hill/mountain (800ish feet and up) I might run into several places that a wind tunnel is created. I have learned a few ways to narrow down where to hunt. But as far as finding beds, does anyone have any input on how a buck will bed relative to other activity in this sort of situation? Same height? Above? Below? Try and stick with their preferred bedding and travel in any direction from there?

I'm currently trying to do a trail camera project to try and track how far up and down they'll travel under normal circumstances but my trail cam resources are small.

Any input?
