accidental scouting

Unread postby phishy » Wed Nov 05, 2014 3:11 pm

not trying top scout, but i ended up in the woods on public land looking for a property corner...... i wish was iwas scouting and had my stand strapped to my back , i would have set up ...

i found more than just this chest high rub

i also found an alder bush ( yes the entire bush/shrub) shredded. okay i've sen shredded alders before, this was nothing like i ever seen, it is a full grown mature bush shredded......

i then found another tree, but i was working and had a mission so i had to keep on focus

i need to scout and hunt this place more, it is a huge bedding area, i stumbled over multiple beds.. only one obvious hunter set

i'm stoked, i just wish i was on the prowl to hunt...

yes my job has its perks

the hard part is being disciplined enough to keep working and not go off on a foray of deer scouting.... but yeah its has worked for the better in the past...

down side ...when hunting, its also hard to turn it off when i'm in my work area and i see something that shouldn't be
