I've got a 140 eight and your buck dwarfs it. Gotta be close to 160. Great buck. Kill him

I know the velvet can be deceiving but if that deer doesn't gross >160" I would be shocked.

I had to alter any plans to go after him. I had to go to the doctor yesterday unexpectedly. I was having energy issues and discovered I have Atrial Fibrillation going on. I have to take blood thinners for a week and then they are going to shock my heart on the 7th. I have a history of heart disease so I thought I better not hunt/exert until I get some energy back.

Not happy about it. But abstinence now may mean better able to hunt in a week or so. Opening day here and I'm not going out. I live to hunt, but I have to be alive to hunt also. I always preach wearing those safety harness. I gotta practice what I preach "safety".

Hope you get better soon Stanley. Glad to hear you caught it early before something worse happened. Good thing it's a relatively long season so you have time to recover.
