Anyone try using drones for scouting?

Unread postby HuntThis » Thu Sep 25, 2014 8:32 am

Ok, so opening day (bow) is about a week away and my mind has already left the office and is in the stand. Can't wait!

Spent a lot of time on here today and searching the internet for pretty much anything hunting related

Has anyone experiemented with GoPro drones for scouting?

Something like this or similar? Obviously there are cheaper models, but this would be true BEAST MODE. Fly over the beds, look for slobs, then sneak in like a Ninja.

That is too much for me. Pretty cool, but not my cup of tea!

Should be illegal. If you want to kill an animal you should have to outsmart it. Not use excessive technology to skip the entire process of woodsmanship. Technology is fine to a point but drones are simply over the edge!

Too far. Aerial pics and trail cams are one thing. Drones cross the line, I would shoot them for sure.
