It's worth a shot but highly unlikely on public!!!!
Check for a coon season. I never coon hunted but have scouted for coon before. Come to think of it those scouts were terrible didn't see the first coon, but saw a few deer!!!!

I think in KY the law says "you cannot shine a deer with the intent to poach". But they nail you for shinin anyway. Harassment of wildlife or something like that. Good thing I reckon. There's enough poaching down around the state line anyway. That would just make it better for them.
