Hey guys, just wondering what are some of your favorite sites to check out/ scout maps? I've been using google earth but unless i havent figured it out it doesnt have TOPO, and as far as I can tell you cant screenshot an edited map on CalTopo. Is there a do all end all site out there?
Thanks
Cody

Re: Scouting Maps
I am using caltopo or acme mapper.
Caltopo has a good functions that acme mapper does not have.
Either way take a screen shot and paste it in paint exe. Then save it as a jpg.
Reopen the file you just saved in paint, then you can draw on it all you want.

you can save them pretty easily in caltopo. I think you need to login to the site using your google or yahoo id. And then click your maps and create one first.

Re: Scouting Maps
If you are using anything passed windows XP (i hope you are because it's EOL). Use the snipping tool. Start run -> snip should pull it up.
