What time were the pictures taken? Also, at what time of the year?

If the buck is bedding near where your camera is located, I would look along the interior transition lines I marked with a red line. Points/fingers that I marked with yellow dots can be likely spots, but so can an edge where the buck can bed on the thick side of the transition wind to back coming from the thick side while watching the more open area down wind...
As far as stand positions, I would find his beds 1st, then figure out where your stand should be based on that info.

The picture of the buck was taken about 1 week ago. As you can see this land is located on a large body of water. According to the picture I got of him it look like he cam up from the large stand of pines that you have circled just to the left of where my camera is located. Another question what did you use to draw on my map?

The buck is a 10 point looks to be 2.5 -3.5 years old. There are several rubs around the area no true rub line though. But what has me puzzled is all are on small trees and not very high. There is a large scrape where I have the camera but he did not work it in the photos. The other blue point over by the open field is where another large scrape is located.
