Look at the 1st pic close... Looks like a wind specific bed. Wind blowing over snow covered log while buck lays back to the log looking down wind. Wind shifts and he shifts... See the pattern of shifting beds?

Looks like your going to have a hog running around there next year. Nice finds.

I see that now that you mention it. Thought it looked a little funny. First impression was two deer bedded close together but now I am thinking you pegged it. 8-)

It looks like you had a very productive scouting trip! I hope you run into the one that left that track next year, he'll be a dandy.

Good work helping you out in the future.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Thanks Stanley. The archery season is still in here but I had so few places close to hunt I decided to start scouting and developing some new spots for next year. Son and Daughter will be in sports in the Fall so hard for me to get away before November. Camp is three hours south, and I miss hunting the early season. I have been just hunting the rut the last few years because I cant get away. Scouted out two new public places and one backyard type spot in the last three weeks. Just the beginning and with some new techniques picked up here on the Beast and through Dan's DVD's I am enjoying scouting as much as hunting.

Cool pics. Thanks for posting. I like looking at all the bed pics even if there not mine. Always can learn something.
