The trails concern me.. If there is a lot of human presence the deer will bed in the swamp. If not, these hill locations should have beds.

As far as your aerial goes, its hard to see... Zoom in on google earth and look at different images and look for transition lines (edges) where the color or shapes of trees change. Bedding should occur on the thick side of these transitions, especially where there is a point or corner shape to the transition line.

Looks like a great spot with plenty of cover too. I like the two spots Dan marked on the northwest side of the map.

I agree, those are the best looking spots on those hills.

Dan, I'm curious…why didn't you pick the top third of the west and east points on the middle hump?

Its possible there is bedding there, but it looks like its a smaller hill, and in the center and with the human trails, its my belief the end points will have better bedding.

Thanks so much for the advice hunted the smaller hill to the right and had 4 does a nice 8 point and a spike all within bow range this afternoon right were Dan said they would bed. The 8 was just too small. I hope Dans DVDs help me too do this by myself. Thank you again.

Sounds like a good trip. I know a guy that has killed quite a few big deer there if it's the same place you posted last week. I'm headed over to the Chick in a week or two to start scouting.
