Quite possible, especially if its dry. However, if a couple of them were in there at a time you could get that. Could also be water.

Looks like marsh grass within cattails to me... Probably to wet for cattails in those spots... For beds look just to the right of your farthest east yellow circle, see a bush or green spot there? Thats likely a spot where there is a bed.

I doubt it, as there is no structure, unless those are small humps but usually small humps have a tree or bushes.
Have to scout it and let us know. My guess is they are low/wet spots. We get areas that look like that on aerials in our swamps too.

Most likely marsh grass. One and preferably two shrubs or trees close together will represent a hump and often a bed.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.
