Cave

Been out stumping around on public land and found a couple beds that were under trees covered with swampgrass, and down to bare dirt . Going by this i assumed a primary beds but what doe/buck, no tracks but hair, very cool whats another sign to determine what am i missing thanks.

I see a lot of those cave type beds. The ones in grass seem seasonal. When the grass starts to lay down in the fall the deer move. I have seen big bucks bed in some of them, but lots of younger deer or does too.

There is one of those behind my shop. The limbs of the tree hang down around the outside of the tree and the fescue grows up around it. I watched a doe and her fawn bed there all summer long.
