Scouted Public land on the computer

Unread postby BigHills BuckHunter » Mon Apr 22, 2013 7:46 am

Did some cyberscouting today on public land to look for places I want to get on foot.

Found this spot and it looks good. What I like about it is the inside corner and the cut that comes up to the field.

Is this exclusivly a rut spot? How would YOU go about hunting it? Unfortunatly I cant access from the North.

Looks iike a good spot. Fairly remote?

It probably isn't just a Rut spot, but I bet that's when you would have the most action. I guess it depends on what is in between that inside corner. Two different doe bedding areas, bed to feed, feed to bed, etc.

I was thinking about hunting it rut only. Using a Southerly wind and setting up just above that draw. It all depends on what I see when I get there.

It is in a remote area. A lot of walking to get there.
