Im happy to know this helps. I did some studying on contour intervals and found not all map legends are the same. Some are in meters and some are in feet. Here is an example on a GSA map.

Great thread.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
