I have found probably 6 hung in fences in different stages of decomp, 2 still alive.

I have helped a couple deer out of fences over the years.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
