Questions about an aerial photo...

Are these deer trails that I have pointed at in red? And what do you make of the darker areas i have boxed in blue? Just trying to get better at deciphering an aerial map. any help?

I'm not totally sure about the boxes, but those most likely are deer trails. I noticed this myself a while back in one of my spots. There was a ton of trails through this crp field, and they showed up perfectly on aereal photo.

The red arrows are most likely deer trails.
the darker spots are most likely lower wetter spots with vegetation. I'm not sure but it looks like there may be some shadowing from clouds as well in your photo.

A map of an area I scouted:
Yellow = tree
green = brush
purple box (and most everything else in the photo) = cattails
red = deer trails
blue = water

The red arrows point out trails... The one farthest to the right might be a human trail? The areas in the blue boxes appear to be brush islands more than likely bedding areas... The could be wet spots as somebody said, but I think they are brushy areas of dogwood and small trees.
