I dont have a spotlight and I need to get one..Any that you guys specifically suggest, or will really any of them do? Im trying to stay on the cheap side, and I have a bunch of gift cards to gander to spend so Im hoping to get one there..
Is 1 million candlepower enough, or should I go with the 2 million? 5 million?
Im kinda liking this one..

I've never had any luck with re-chargeable spots, I prefer the corded cig lighter type.

Re: What spotlight?
I use a Brinkmann Q-Beam 3 million candlepower and it works great. Less than $30 at Walmart with a extra bulb and carrying case.

Re: What spotlight?
Do the rechargeable ones work like a corded one if you keep them plugged in while you are scouting from a vehicle? There are a couple spots I can think of that I would want to do some shining where I couldnt scout from a vehicle (food plots), so it would be nice to have the option of having it cordless if needed. Most of the time I would be scouting from a vehicle though..

Re: What spotlight?
I picked myself up the Brinkman one you guys suggested. Havent had a chance to try it out yet, so I dont have an opinion, but I'll trust yours. Now I just need to see how you mount a camera to the top of it..Got any pics Dan?
