the big 8 is know a big 9....i got awesome footage of him tonight ....he was closer to the road and i bought a new spot light that really lights them up. looks like he has a split brow tine.....i will post the vid in the mourning ...im heading to bed to take a two hour nap and then im heading back out to shine a different track off public land 8-)

i also got two other great bucks on film ....in the morning i will post them 8-)

i had a great night shinning last night, i just woke up :shifty:

went out just after dark then i came home, took a two hour nap and went back out until dawn....i seen about forty to fifty deer last night all kinds of bucks...i managed to get a couple on film that ive been seeing regularly theses past couple months.... first is what i thought was a big 8, is now a big 9. looks like he has a split brow that makes him a 9 pointer.....the ten pointer i got on camera back in early july, i got on camera last night yet again. he has grown a little more and makes me want him even more.....where i saw him last night, and where i found beds this past winter, i have a good suspicion that hes in that bedding area.... time will tell . can not wait :dance:

and then the last buck ive been seeing a lot theses past two weeks . when the moon was hot his past weekend on the 27th and 28th, i saw him out both nights waaaay before dark, feeding in fields...last night was the closest i got to him...good 8 point for public land!!!!!

i hope so too ...but Dewey either way if i shoot one or not it will be a good time...i wont let it get me down. all i know is ill be walking out every night with my head held up high, with or with a buck

That is a great looking buck! And other bucks for that matter. Me and a buddy got an 8 that looks like your now 9pt that we've seen twice in the daylight. Can't wait to get after him. Good luck to you!

Some great bucks! I would say that big 8 is 140 gross maybe even bigger after the velvet falls off.

I love to shine too man...I have trouble videotaping them though with low light conditions so I usually take the binos only. Fav time to shine is midnight to 1am.
