went out last night to glass a bean field. saw 8 bucks, two which were over 120 inches, 5 does and 5 coyotes. the coyotes were sneaking thru the beans after the deer. didnt see any fawns with the does. the rifle is going with me the next trip.

That would certainly make the deer happy too!

Shoot them singing dogs.

Coyotes are thick were I live. I see them on a regular basis and have not seen one with any hint of mange. I always thought mange was a cycle that keeps the population in check but haven't seen any hints of it in years. If you see them a lot there is way to many. This one guy baits them and shot dozens in one winter off his back porch.

Hate those things! They are not welcome here.

They have been a problem around here. I have successfully removed a few but a few is not enough. I am considering in an all out trapping and hunting excursion prior and during hen nesting and the fawn drop periods. I may not kill many but I can at least bother them as much as I can during these important times. I just wish night hunting with a light was legal here.

Time to drop them dogs for sure. But I am from the train of thought that any time you see one is a good time to shoot one.
It's not a problem, it's a opportunity for a solution.
