Looked some spots over this morning with a buddy.

Here are some pics, we also saw a nice buck.
But he was too fast for pics.......probably why he is still alive. :lol:

All public land.

I would imagine we were the first humans this fawn had ever seen in the woods.

Lotsa poults, only got a few on camera.
They were flying really well for young birds.

Buck bed...... 8-)

Gonna stake that spot out early season/early morning.....picked a tree and approach route.

Gets your blood pumping and your mind dreaming - cool.

Now that my month long deck project is done... I'm planning on scouting Fri-Sun mornings for 2-hours until about beg. of Aug.
Need a few more spots myself!!!
