It's good to know your trees. I have pocket size book for the trees of WI. I just have to remember to bring it with me more often lol.

I have a similar book titled "Trees of Michigan". Doesn't identify EVERY tree but itss a great tool to have!
Certain trees in certain areas can be wildlife magnets, all you gotts do is find them!

its also a good idea to know your other native browse, forbes especially, theres a lot they will eat and some they wont. most people think a deer wouldnt eat sumac, greeen briar...

Super info. Trees are a great natural resource.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
